THE TEMPLE Annapolis hosted a Daddy Daughter Princess Party this past summer aimed at teaching fathers how to care for and style their daughter’s hair. Among the skills taught were how to properly tie a sleek ponytail, create the perfect dancer bun and style a simple and elegant 3-strand braid.
“It was awesome to spend the day teaching dads how to do their daughters’ hair,” said team member Hannah Baldwin. “Growing up, I loved when my dad did my hair; so it was great to be able to give back and share an experience that these princesses will be able to remember for the rest of their lives.”
Future Professional on hand assisting the dad with any help or questions they had. They also painted their daughters nails. Of course, it would not be a princess party without cupcakes, tiaras and wands for the lovely princesses!
“I had such a great time teaching the dads how to braid their daughters’ hair. They were willing to learn and did such a great job!” said Future Professional Gabby Bauer.
Proceeds from the event benefit Paul Mitchell School’s annual FUNraiser.
