Lights, camera, action!!!
In August, Niki Thrash, Director of Development and Marketing for the Mental health Association of Frederick County, welcomed Temple Team Leader, Molly Childs, and Future Professional, Marti Blattenberger, to MHA’s offices on Jefferson Street. Both Molly and Marti donated their time and talents for the filming of the MHA’s new “awareness” video.
Niki’s Perspective:
“Molly and Marti helped me with a client video shoot preparing the interviewees with professional hair and makeup services. These clients are bravely sharing their personal stories on film to try to help other people know what we do here at MHA. Molly and Marti arrived early on the morning of the shoot, setup all of their hair and makeup
tools, and treated each client like they were the most important person in the world. There are no words to express my gratitude!”
Molly’s Words:
“I just want to start off by saying that I was very excited that Niki had asked me to assist with the MHA awareness video! Mental illness awareness is extremely important to me because I have experienced many different situations of both loved ones and myself going through difficult times. I met amazing people and heard touching stories while I was there.”
Why we do it – Sharon Riser:
“THE TEMPLE has been a longtime supporter of MHA, so for us to work together on such a great project was a perfect fit!”
