On December 3rd Future Professionals and staff members from Temple Annapolis participated in “Heroes on the Runway” Fashion Show benefitting the Combat Wounded Coalition. The fashion show featured wounded warriors and family modeling clothing from their Wounded Wear line along with other local and national retailers.
Design team members Marbella Hernandez, Valerie Gavel, Roxane Jordan and Josh Powell contributed their talents backstage on hair and makeup with models for the second annual event.
“It was such an honor and a great experience not only for our Future Professionals but also for myself to work backstage for this fantastic event,” said student run programs leader Alice Ness. “Fashion shows like this have a whole different meaning when the models are veterans or family members of veterans. We can’t wait to do it again next year!”
Design team member Josh Powell added, “An amazing cause, amazing people and a fantastic, talented team!”
