Tessa Merson, Specialty Leader from Temple Annapolis was one of the “First 100” Paul Mitchell FUNraisers across the United States to earn a spot to Paul Mitchell Schools FUNraising Gala in Hollywood, California this past May!
Tessa used her professional expertise to offer Future Professionals an opportunity to gain advanced avant-garde editorial styling experience. She also organized a “Princess & Pirate” event for charity.
Each year Paul Mitchell Schools FUNraising Campaign honors and rewards the first 100 Future Professionals, team members, and Paul Mitchell National Educators who raise $3,000 in donations for charity with an opportunity to attend this exclusive event.
“It was such an honor to be able to represent Temple Annapolis at this incredible opportunity,” said Tessa. “It was truly humbling to be a part of a group that was there for the sole purpose of giving back to the community. I’ve made it a personal goal to strive for every year!”
Winners of the “First 100” also enjoyed a “meet and greet” photo op with celebrity guests plus a day of hands-on education the next day with longhair expert Martin Parsons, master barber Darrin “DL” Lyons, and Debra Dietrich.
Charities that benefitted from this year’s FUNraising campaign included the Andrew Gomez Dream Foundation, Gary Sinise Foundation, Cancer Schmancer, Leeza’s Care Connection, CAST, Magic Johnson Foundation, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, No Limits, Food 4 Africa
