On Friday, August 15th – Sunday, August 17th, Boys & Girls Club of Frederick (BGCFC) hosted their fifth annual Tour de Frederick (TDF) event. TDF featured three days of unique ride routes that showcased the beauty of Frederick County, emphasized its rich history, and fostered camaraderie among riders.
Future Professionals volunteered their time to serve food and beverages to the hungry and hot riders of the event.
Elmer Garcia, one of our participating Future Professionals, stated “I really enjoyed cheering on the riders, and meeting so many friendly people!”
Whitney Sewell, another volunteer, raved “Thank you, Sharon, for giving us all of these amazing volunteer opportunities! Everyone there was so kind, and I had so much fun!”
