Caper 2017 in Orlando, Florida proved to be a life-altering experience for Temple Frederick Future Professionals! Caper, a Paul Mitchell Schools’ annual event, is designed to educate and inspire Future Professionals from all over the country.
Every year, several thousand Paul Mitchell Future Professionals gather for this once in a lifetime educational experience designed just for them.
Held at the Coronado Sprints Resort in Walt Disney World, the educational event featured fashion shows, inspiring motivational speakers like John Paul DeJoria and Winn Claybaugh as well as hands-on classes with top stylists and a Career Connection where students could network with clinic classrooms.
“Caper truly was the best trip ever,” said Colby Nees. “It is hard to fully explain the experience. Where I aspire to be in this industry completely changed during and after Caper. Hearing the professional’s stories of how they got there was very inspirational. It made me realize that I could also one day be a platform artist and achieve big goals!”
Learning Leaders for event included industry icons Robert Cromeans, Lucie Doughty, Diana Schmidtke, Sharon
Blaine, Debra Dietrich and Devri Ficklin along with inspirational speakers Kathy Buckley, Geno Stampora, Kelly Cardenas and Cedric King.
“For me it was very motivational. It made me think about what I was doing and where I wanted to go with my future career and how to get there. It helped me to understand where I wanted to be. It changed my mindset and propelled me to dream bigger – the sky is no longer the limit,” said Nichole Adams, Future Professional.
