Surviving Spouses and Children of Police Officers and Firefighters Scholarship

The TEMPLE A Paul Mitchell Partner School offers scholarships to support our Future Professionals. To apply, please review the following scholarship criteria, complete the application, and provide relevant documentation. Only one scholarship will be awarded per qualified applicant.

This tuition credit may be used by the children or surviving spouse of a police officer or firefighter who has been killed in the line of duty. Appropriate supporting documentation will be required.

Scholarship Criteria:

  • Students are eligible for a one-time maximum award of $500. 
  • Students will be eligible to receive the non-cash award in two scholarship credits of $250 at the end of each applicable payment period.
  • Students must maintain satisfactory academic progress at the end of each applicable payment period to remain eligible.

    SCHOLARSHIP TERMS: Acceptance of an individual scholarship award shall be an agreement to the terms and conditions of that award as well as all policies governing the school’s scholarships. Every student's financial award package (scholarships and need-based assistance) is subject to compliance with federal aid regulations.

    • The school reserves the right to adjust individual scholarship awards to ensure compliance with institutional and federal policies
    • Renewable awards are contingent upon maintaining satisfactory academic progress.
    • Awards may only apply to charges on a student ledger card or direct costs (tuition and fees) a student incurs.
    • Students may qualify for only one scholarship per program of study.
    • If the student withdraws, scholarship refunds will be prorated using the same formula as the institutional tuition refund policy.
    • Scholarship applications must be submitted prior to signing enrollment agreement.
