THE TEMPLE Participates in National Night Out

On Tuesday, August 5th, THE TEMPLE united with the Frederick County Police in the National Night Out – “America’s Night Out Against Crime” event.  This is a yearly event held on the first Tuesday of August to promote involvement in crime prevention activities, police-community partnerships, neighborhood camaraderie, and to send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back!

Future Professionals Rachel Yoder, Laura Fisher and Caitlin Bright, along with Piper Crawford, team member, joined in on the fun at the Mullinex Park location braiding and styling hair for attendees.  They also handed out Paul Mitchell product samples and back-to-school haircut cards.

Sharon Riser, school co-owner, shared “This is the 7th year we are have participated in this event.  It is great to see our city share about the services they offer as well as give back to the community in so many ways.”
